BASKET AND CASH SALES
Basket and cash sales are often confused. Therefore, here is a definition

Basket and cash sales are calculated as follows:
The number of printed receipts equals the number of customers (1 receipt = 1 customer). Basket sales are calculated by dividing the net sales for a month by the number of customers. If the proportion of prescribed medications is deducted from the basket sales, the cash sales per customer remain.
If the A-items are known, the cash sales per customer can be easily increased through active sales recommendations. Example: If the cash sales per customer are increased by an average of €1, this results in a sales increase of €80,000 per year for 300 customers/day and 80,000 customers/year.
Depending on the location, city, country, center, etc., very different customer and sales compositions arise, which can be responded to individually. For example, through purchasing, product ranges, placement, personnel management, opening hours.
